The non-refundable Legislative Research Fee includes the cost of labor for researching, retrieving, and copying relevant materials. We make every effort to find the record, but the fee is not returned if not located. Research Requests are processed in the order in which they are received. Typically, it takes staff 4-6 weeks to process and respond to a research request.
