Shipping policy
Please note: orders for merchandise, memberships, and Ohio Death Certificates will be shipped separately. Check your order status for shipping information for your order.
Merchandise Orders
All merchandise orders will be shipped via the U.S. Postal Service. In-stock items will be shipped within 3 business days and should arrive to you within 1 week after we receive your order. You will be notified immediately if your order cannot be shipped within 3 business days.
OhioPix Digital Downloads
Image orders through OhioPix can be downloaded for seven days after your order is placed. Please be sure to back up the image on your local system before the expiration date. Images may be used for layouts, design, and other preparatory work upon download. Final publication or use may not proceed until you have received a signed use agreement from the Ohio Historical Society. Use agreements are mailed or faxed within 3-5 days of your order. Ohio Indexed Public Records Copy Orders
Please allow two weeks for your order to be processed.
Death certificate copies from 1954-1970 and Bertillon record copies will be sent to you as digital images by email. Please add vitalrecords@ohiohistory.org to your safe senders list and check your spam filter if you do not receive your order within 2 weeks.
Death certificate copies from before 1954 will be sent to you as paper copies by postal mail and should arrive in 7-10 business days after mailing. We will e-mail an update to you when they have shipped.

Professional Organization Memberships
Ohio Academy of History and Society of Ohio Archivists memberships are processed on a monthly basis. You will receive an email once your membership order has been processed.
Ohio Local History Alliance membership cards are mailed printed and mailed on a monthly basis You will receive another email once they've been mailed.
