progress. Now located at Caesar Creek Pioneer village, this saddle-bag house was
reconstructed from two unrelated units-although it is likely that the same Quaker
workmen built both structures in Warren County about 1819. When completed,
the central chimney will extend beyond the roof line. Both structures, which combine
half and full-dovetailed corners, were photographed in their original locations by
Donald A. Hutslar and appear on pages 29 and 31.
