Siebert Wilbur Henry Siebert (1866-1961) began researching the Underground Railroad in 1893 and continued to investigate and write about the topic for the rest of his life. He gathered and published a great deal of information about Underground Railroad activities in Ohio at a time when some conductors were still alive.
