The original raven effigy pipe is attributed to the Hopewell people. Because not all pipes and objects are found under controlled archaeological circumstances, it is often impossible to determine the primary purposes of the items. The original pipe may have been created for use in ceremony, as decoration, or for personal use. Replica is made of clay. Approximately 4 inches long. |
