The National Register of Historic Places is the nation's official list of properties recognized by the United States Department of the Interior as worthy of preservation. Properties are selected for their local, state or national significance in American history, architecture, archaeology, engineering or culture.
If your Ohio property is listed individually or contributes to a historic
district in the National Register of Historic Places, you are entitled to purchase a certificate of listing to display. Each certificate lists the property address or historic name, historic
district name if applicable, listing date, and the criteria under which the building, district, structure or site was listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Each customized
certificate is signed by Ohio’s State Historic Preservation Officer.
Certificates come in two sizes, framed or unframed, and are printed on archive-quality parchment. Frames are available in gold or black metal with clear glass and sturdy backing. Please allow 4-6 weeks for shipping.
