The Removal of the Native Americans from Ohio, as a result of the Removal Act of 1830, is a significant story untold in Ohio. The Removal is more than a page in history; it is the transplanting of people and their culture by force by a government. Uprooted and struggling for survival, the Native Americans lost many aspects of their culture and identity.
